Why Discipled Exists
The Purpose
We made Discipled to create the Christian clothing we believed was missing: premium, modern pieces that reflect the depth of our faith without compromising how we want to dress.
Too often, Christian clothing can feel like merchandise—created to display a message, but without the same care, quality and cultural awareness as the rest of our wardrobe. We wanted to build something different.
Built through a shared life of faith
We are Shepherd and Laetisha, a married couple who have been together since our teenage years. As we have grown together, our faith in Christ has grown too. We have personally witnessed the hand of God and experienced His grace throughout our lives, shaping who we are and the purpose we now share.
We both actively serve in our local churches and believe that, as the light of Christ shines through us, it should become evident in our character, our behaviour towards others and the way we live every day. Faith was never meant to remain hidden or separated from the rest of our lives.
Worship is more than a song or a moment. It is a life offered to God.
Our love for worship led us to establish Discipled to Worship, where our purpose is to help bring people closer to God through worshipping Him. Discipled grew from that same conviction.
Every Discipled piece begins with purpose. Our clothing is designed to feel at home in contemporary streetwear while carrying meaning far beyond the garment. It exists to help people wear their faith with confidence, start meaningful conversations and make discipleship visible in everyday life.
Why the name Discipled
Through our clothing and worship ministry, our mission is to encourage people to present their lives as living sacrifices—holy and pleasing to God—and to express their faith with confidence, intention and authenticity.
This is why our brand and mission are called Discipled. The name represents the continuing decision to follow Christ, allow Him to shape our lives and make that faith evident through the way we live.
